app features

For pilots, this app has all the features to keep track of your favs, view destination ratings, trade secrets (sweet FBOs with crew cars, or an epic remote town not readily accessible by non-pilots.)Ever worry about AOG? Not with this app - an A&P is just a couple of clicks away. Also find aviation fly-ins and shows (even food festivals and boat shows). You can even build itineraries using AI and collaborate with your friends and family!

about the founder

Hello, my name is Sushee Perumal. I'm a pilot with a Twin Cessna 340A. I'm an MBA with an undergrad in Electrical and Computer engineering. I exited MaxSold, a B2C eCommerce business after over a decade of leading it as President and CEO achieving national and cross-border expansion and Series A and B VC investments.Private air travel helped fuel my business expansion, and made my corner of the world a smaller place. Even after more than two decades of flying I still pinch myself when I compress trips that typically take up an entire week into delightful weekend getaways, and overnight or three-day business trips into day trips.I've experienced unbelievable off the beaten path destinations I wouldn't have otherwise seen in one lifetime.

the pain point

Much of the discovery of these destinations was chance - stumbling onto a Facebook post or a conversation with a (friendly) stranger with a pilot at the airport. While there are a ton of tools for flight planning, existing destination specific information for pilots are hard to use (not to mention horribly outdated), and lack critical features that could make the discovery and planning process approachable, perhaps even fun!I've been AOG, only once (knock on wood) due to a starter issue, but it was a scramble to find an A&P and order parts, so I'm curating a list of A&Ps and parts shops so they are always a couple of clicks away without having to frantically go down the rabbit hole of trying to find them on Google (which is great for restaurants, but horrible for specialty stuff things this).

Flying to the Bahamas in 2023 highlighted the pain. Information for destinations in the Bahamas came from various YouTube videos, researching Facebook groups and using Google (a lot). Organizing this information wasn't easy. After the flight to the Bahamas, various friends asked me about my experience, but there isn't an easy way to share my trip report. The app has curated Bahamas first trip itineraries, customs process, ground transport options, groceries to bring, etc. so you can fly there like a boss. (and this app is a must have, as it has an A&P directory)

my mission for this app

I'm really building this app to solve my own pain point. What if tribal knowledge from pilots is organized, collaborative and a delight to use? What if pilots could build destination itineraries and share with friends and family?Sign-up to get in on the beta test, and become an early user to help shape the direction of the app. Even non-pilots are welcome! (and don't forget to share your unique code once you sign-up to move up the waitlist)
